
Iqaluit man charged with theft, break and enters

An Iqaluit man is now in custody for allegedly committing several counts of theft, breaking and entering and careless storage of a firearm.
In a news release Friday, Iqaluit RCMP said they charged the man with 13 counts of possession of a weapon obtained by crime, six counts of possession of property obtained by crime, break and enter, theft over $5,000, theft of credit card and use of a forged document, among others.
The man was taken into custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 2.
