A 104-year-old Iowa woman who was a child during the 1918 flu pandemic has officially received her first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, per local reports.
McElderry’s daughter, Sue Peters, took her to the appointment. The Council Bluffs woman told the news station that the jab "wasn’t that bad." "It will be a big relief once she can get that second shot and start to see family and they can come all the way in the house and not have to worry about standing at the door or staying six feet apart. That will be nice," Peters said.More Related News
