Investigators search for cause of industrial area structure fire near E.C. Row Expressway

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a structure fire in an industrial area of Windsor — just north of the E.C. Row Expressway.
Official say it could be seen Tuesday night from the expressway, and included one building and one truck at the location along North Service Road East between Central Avenue and Pillette Road.
Crews protected a diesel tank and other exposures at the site, according to Windsor’s fire department.
The fire was stamped out after a few hours.
No injuries were reported and a damage estimate was not provided in a series of social media posts issued by the fire department Tuesday night.
