India Cements Ltd. (ICL) reported standalone net profit of ₹71.6 crore for the quarter ended March 31, compared with a loss of ₹111 crore a year earlier. Total income grew to ₹1,461.44 crore compared with ₹1,169.92 crore in the fourth quarter of the previous year. “Our performance has been creditable given that we operated only at 50% capacity for whole year,” said vice chairman and managing director N. Srinivasan, who was reappointed as MD for five years effective May 26, subject to approvals.More Related News
