Increase in Covid-19 Red list countries as MoPH updates lists

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced an updated Covid-19 travel and return policy based on the categorisation of Covid-19 risk, with the addition of 10 new countries to the Red List.The updated policy comes into effect on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 7pm.The Red List now gets bigger with 57 countries. The countries added to the red list are Austria, Estonia, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Portugal, Trinidad and Tobago, and Turkey. The Green List has now only 143 countries.The High Risk List or Exceptional Red List countries include Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia and Zimbabwe.
