1. Evgeny Kuznetsov
After being made a healthy scratch early in the series, the Russian has scored in two straight games, including the eventual game-winner in Game 5.
2. Jordan Staal
It was an individual moment of brilliance from Staal, who beat Igor Shesterkin clean off a breakaway, that finally got the Hurricanes going in their comeback effort.
3. Jacob Trouba

Almost a year to the day after a goaltender interference call against Kyle Palmieri lost the Islanders a game against the Blue Jackets that started their season’s death spiral, they were on the wrong end of another controversial call against those same Blue Jackets that might have had the same effect.
