HMC’s Person-Centered Care Ambassadors Program resumes

Doha: Hamad Medical Corporation’s Center for Patient Experience and Staff Engagement (CPESE) has announced the resumption of the Person-Centered Care (PCC) Ambassadors Program and is calling on members of the community to volunteer for the program.
Since its launch, the PCC Ambassadors composed of both Qatari nationals and expatriates of various skills and professions were assigned by CPESE to select HMC facilities to perform tasks such as wayfinding, ‘meet and greet’ the patients, guiding patients to their appointments, and generally supporting patients and family members during their continuum of care. As Qatar gradually lifts COVID-19-related restrictions from May 28, the PCC Ambassadors program resumes its operations. The reactivation of the program comes after putting the program on hold to minimize the effects of the second wave of the virus in early April 2021.More Related News
