Here are the federal candidates for Nunavut

Canadians will head to the polls on April 28, and Nunavummiut will cast their ballot to decide who will represent them in Ottawa.
There is only one riding in Nunavut.
Brennan Wauters is the Green Party's candidate vying to represent Nunavut in Ottawa.
Wauters initially ran in the B.C. riding of Peace River North in last year's provincial election, but was removed from the B.C. Green Party's list of candidates, according to Energetic City. He previously ran for the party in the 2021 federal election in the riding of Central Okanagan–Similkameen–Nicola and in the riding of Burnaby South in the 2019 federal election.
The party had earlier named another person to CBC News as their Nunavut candidate, but later said that was done in error and confirmed that Wauters is in fact the candidate.
The website listing the candidates for the Conservative Party names James T. Arreak as the party's candidate for Nunavut. There were no links to any of his social media platforms or a candidate website.
Arreak previously ran in the 2021 Nunavut territorial election in the riding of Iqaluit-Tasiluk, where he lost to incumbent George Hickes. According to his LinkedIn page, Arreak is the vice-president of corporate services at the Qulliq Energy Corporation and was previously a political adviser to Premier P.J. Akeeagok.
NDP candidate Lori Idlout is seeking re-election as Nunavut's MP. Idlout was first elected in 2021 after her predecessor Mumilaaq Qaqqaq did not seek re-election after one term in Parliament.
Idlout says she wants to advocate for sustainable investments into the territory.
"Because investments don't come soon enough or ... are only short-term, there's no long-term sustainable funding," Idlout said. "[It] makes it feel like [Nunavummiut] are the last priority."
Kilikvak Kabloona is running for the Liberals in Nunavut, according to a notice from the party's national campaign co-chair.
Kabloona, who is originally from Baker Lake, is the chief executive office of Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. She was previously the associate deputy minister for quality of life with the Nunavut government and an political advisor to cabinet members and premiers.
