No e-filing services from June 1 to 6 for I-T portal upgrade
The government has extended deadlines for various Income Tax law compliances citing the hardships being faced amid the severe COVID-19 pandemic. The due date of furnishing income tax returns for the Assessment Year 2021-22 has been extended from July 31, 2021, to 30th September, 2021. Employers have also been granted a month’s extension for furnishing Form 16 that reflects tax deductions at source from employees’ salaries, from June 15 to July 15. A month’s extension has also been granted for entities that need to file audited income reports from their usual deadlines for filing such audit reports, as well as their income tax returns.More Related News
