After recording a jump on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Monday, the gold and silver rates have changed today. With a hike of 0.22 per cent or Rs 103, the price of gold futures maturing on August 5, stands at Rs 47,178 per 10 grams on the MCX. On the other hand, the silver futures maturing on July 5 trade at Rs 67,711 per kg, recording a slight dip of 0.06 per cent or Rs 40.
