Gold, Silver prices today: Precious metal prices witness jump on MCX | Check latest rates here

After trading on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) yesterday, the rates of both gold and silver witnessed a hike on Wednesday. Gold futures maturing on August 5, 2021, stand at Rs 47,610 per 10 grams with a marginal hike of 0.11 per cent or Rs 53. Witnessing a jump of 0.40 per cent or Rs 264, silver futures maturing on September 3, 2021, are trading at Rs 66,349 per kg on the MCX. Yesterday, the rate of gold retailed at Rs 47,446 per 10 grams and recorded a marginal downfall of 0.03 per cent or Rs 12. On the other hand, the rate of silver traded at Rs 67,357 per kg and saw a slight dip of 0.17 per cent or Rs 113. The rates of gold and silver were trading at Rs 47,573 and Rs 66,056, respectively, when the market closed on July 27.
