On July 14, gold and silver are trading on the higher side on the Multi Commodity Exchange(MCX) for the second time in a row. Witnessing a hike of Rs 101 or 0.21 per cent, gold futures maturing on August 5 stand at Rs 47,982 per 10 grams on the MCX. Meanwhile, silver futures maturing on September 3 stand at Rs 69,096 per kg with a marginal hike of 0.02 per cent or Rs 15. Yesterday, the prices of precious metals edged higher on the MCX. While gold stood at Rs 47,875 per 10 grams with a marginal hike of 0.16 per cent or Rs 76, silver traded at Rs 69,609 per kg and with a jump of 0.24 per cent or Rs 166. The prices of gold and silver stood at Rs 47,889 and Rs 69,081 when the market closed yesterday.
