Doha, Qatar: Gem Team, the flagship enterprise communication platform developed by Gem Soft, returned to Web Summit Qatar in 2026 for the third consecutive year, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the region’s rapidly evolving digital ecosystem.

Gem Soft and Gem Team are participating in Web Summit Qatar for the third time. Continued participation in the summit reflects both the company’s strategic focus on the Middle East and Qatar’s growing role as a hub for secure enterprise technologies and international technology collaboration.

In an exclusive interview with The Peninsula, Oleg Lipovetskiy, Executive Director of Client Relations, said that the rapid changes of recent years have reshaped both the global technology landscape and the company’s approach to product development, placing cybersecurity at the core of its strategy.

“The world has changed quite harshly and rapidly in the past several years, and so have we. Cybersecurity comes first for us,” he said.

He explained that Gem Soft is focused on combining enterprise-grade security with a smooth and intuitive user experience; two priorities that are often at odds with one another.
