Gavin Newsom’s Hilariously Brutal Birthday Post To Stephen Miller Is Truly A Gift
HuffPost
The White House deputy chief of staff celebrated a milestone birthday over the weekend.
You could say he Avada Kedavra’d it.
Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) and his social media team were so busy trolling the GOP over the weekend that they completely forgot to wish Stephen Miller a happy 40th birthday on Saturday. So, on Sunday, Newsom’s office published a belated birthday post on X that’s fit for a snake.
“Happy birthday, @StephenM ! Sorry we missed your big day yesterday,” the post read, alongside an image of Voldemort — the main antagonist in the “Harry Potter” series — wearing a birthday hat and smiling.
Beyond a physical resemblance, the real-life Republican and the fictional villain have some other things in common.
In the “Harry Potter” series, Voldemort is the head of an extremist hate group called the Death Eaters, while Miller is a heavily influential member of the MAGA movement. Voldemort and Miller also rely on xenophobia to cultivate fear in their followers.
