Doha, Qatar: A series of free art and heritage workshops is drawing large crowds to Katara Corniche as part of the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival 2026, offering families and children an interactive cultural experience inspired by the Arabian horse.
Eight workshops, designed to cater to different age groups, are being held alongside the festival's main events. All focus on hands-on artistic activities centered on the symbolism and heritage of the Arabian horse, a longstanding cultural emblem in the region.
Organisers said the initiative aims to combine creative expression with traditional values, providing participants with an opportunity to engage with heritage in a practical and accessible way.
Maha Al Mughisib, who supervises one of the workshops, said the activities were carefully designed to reflect the festival's broader message.
"Katara is offering a range of workshops suitable for all ages, all of them free and all connected to the theme of the Arabian horse," she said.
