
Foul play suspected in person's disappearance after suspicious fire at Kitchener home

Foul play is suspected in the disappearance of a person who lived in a unit at a Kitchener home where there was a suspicious fire last month.
Police have been unable to located Eli Wood, 25, who lived in the rear unit of the home on Major Street.
Fire crews were called to the home on Oct. 19 at 6 a.m. after calls the unit at the rear of the home was fully engulfed in flames. The fire was extinguished, but it caused significant damage to the property.
The fire "is being investigated as an arson," police said in a release on Tuesday.
Police continue to investigate with the help of the Office of the Fire Marshal. The cause of the fire has not been revealed.
Wood is described as approximately four feet, 10 inches tall, weighing between 85 and 95 pounds, with green eyes, partial white eyebrows and eyelashes, and white patches of hair.
Wood has a flower and seahorse tattoo on the left forearm and a rainbow tattoo on the right upper arm.
