Flight operations at Delhi Airport’s T2 may be suspended due to lack of flyers: Report
India Today
Operations at Delhi IGI Airport's Terminal 2 may be suspended as flyers have reduced sharply in the wake of the second wave of Covid-19 in India.
Lack of flyers may lead to suspension of operations at Delhi IGI Airport's Terminal 2 (T2) from May 10. Passenger numbers have nosedived at the T2 terminal as Delhi continues to witness a sharp surge in Covid-19 cases, reported The Times of India. The report added that the current amount of domestic-cum-international flight traffic is down due to travel restrictions imposed by several countries, and the load can be handled by T3 alone. Sources quoted in the report have said that the Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) will hold consultations with airlines in the next few days before taking a decision on suspending T2 operations.More Related News
