Flames star Johnny Gaudreau leaves Calgary — for Ohio

The Columbus Blue Jackets made a big splash Wednesday by landing star forward Johnny Gaudreau on a seven-year deal worth over $68 million, according to multiple reports.
Calgary general manager Brad Treliving confirmed a day earlier that Gaudreau would not be re-signing with the Flames.
Calgary also lost defenceman Erik Gudbranson to the Blue Jackets on a four-year, $16-million contract.
