The Rock 'n Play had been on the market for about 10 years and linked to more than 30 infant deaths, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. These products were not regulated like cradles and bassinets. Before it was voluntarily recalled in 2019, 4.7 million Rock 'n Plays were sold.
