Firefly Diamonds raises $3 million seed round to expand retail, digital presence, and R&D for unique jewellery collections.
Lab-grown diamond jewellery brand Firefly Diamonds said it has raised a seed round of $3 million led by WestBridge Capital.
“The investment will accelerate retail expansion, bolster digital presence, and fuel R&D for new and distinctive jewellery collections,” the firm said.
The firm which currently has stores in Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad plans to expand to over 20 locations in two years.
Adit Bhansali, co-founder, Firefly Diamonds said, “With this funding, we wish to usher in a new era of Indian luxury, that celebrates beauty, individuality, and the art of fine craftsmanship.”

Scaling Artificial Intelligence(AI) at the speed at which consultants project is not possible by the laws of physics and may not be environmentally sustainable, said Tanvir Khan, who is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of NTT DATA North America, part of the Japanese technology services and data centre company NTT Data, in an interview with The Hindu.
