Fans visiting Qatar during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 can stay with family and friends, the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) has said. The information is available in the FAQ section of the Hayya Card portal on the qatar2022.qa website. Answering the query, "Can I stay with family and friends in Qatar at tournament time?", the website says "yes". "Your host will need to register your accommodation within the Hayya portal. Currently, up to 10 individuals can be invited as guests by a single host during the tournament. Further information about this will be communicated in due course," it explains. The SC had on Wednesday announced the Hayya Card programme as well as the launch of the accommodation portal for the World Cup. The Official Accommodation Agency website offers options such as hotels, apartments & villas, fan villages, cruise ship cabins and hotels.
