Ex-Marvel Star Makes Acting Comeback After Assault Conviction In Ben Shapiro-Produced Film

Jonathan Majors avoided jail time after being found guilty of assaulting his then-girlfriend in 2023.
Former Marvel actor Jonathan Majors will star in an upcoming unnamed project produced in part by right-wing media company The Daily Wire, a few years after Majors was convicted of assaulting his then-girlfriend in 2023.
Daily Wire co-founder and podcaster Ben Shapiro is listed as a producer on the project, the title and plot of which are “being kept under wraps for now,” according to a press release shared with HuffPost.
However, the release did say the story is in “in the vein of” action movies such as “Red Dawn” and “Toy Soldiers.”
Caleb Robinson and Mike Richards are executive producing the film alongside Majors. Kyle Rankins is directing the project based on his screenplay and has already begun production in South Carolina.
The movie will be streaming exclusively on DailyWire+, home to conservative programs such “The Ben Shapiro Show,” and “The Matt Walsh Show.”
