Indian business tycoon Azim Premji has retained top spot on the EdelGive Hurun India Philanthropy List 2021. The 76-year-old donated Rs 9,713 crore in FY21, earning him the title of “India’s most generous” for the second year in a row.

The amount donated by Premji and his family is 27 per cent higher than FY20. The EdelGive Hurun India Philanthropy List 2021 noted that Azim Premji made a donation of Rs 27 crore per day.
