"I can't do it right now," the country singer shared.
Dolly Parton is finding it hard to finish certain projects after her beloved husband, Carl Dean, died in March.
The country icon said in a new interview that she’s really only had writer’s block once in her life, but she’s now putting “a few things” on pause after Dean’s death.
“My husband passed away three months ago,” Parton said during her appearance on Khloe Kardashian’s new podcast, “Khloe in Wonder Land.”
“Several things I’ve wanted to start, but I can’t do it. I will later, but I’m just coming up with such wonderful, beautiful, you know, ideas, but I think I won’t finish it,” the “9 to 5” actor shared, before explaining why.
“I can’t do it right now because I got so many other things and I can’t afford the luxury of, you know, of getting that emotional right now,” Parton added.
