DI to host ‘Governance of public policies during and after conflicts in Middle East’ conference

Doha: The three days conference Governance of public policies during and after conflicts in the Middle East will kick off on the 4th of April 2021, organized by the School of Public Administration and Development Economics (SPADE) at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. About 117 researcher and scholar from 76 countries will participate in the sessions that will be held remotely.
The conference is divided into 23 sessions, five sessions to be conducted in Arabic and 18 in English. The event will offer a great opportunity for many researchers to network and increase knowledge about the various topics given as of: the policies of sovereign and bioenergy sectors, Civil Society, NGOs, and Peace Techniques—A Comparison of U.S. and MENA Non-State Actors, Resources, and Promising Strategies, The Call for Reconciliation in the Middle of Conflicts, The governance of public policies in Morocco: the case of the Southern Saharan Provinces, Lessons of the Arab Spring for the Gulf Cooperation Council States: Applying Strategic Foresight to Governance of Public Policies. The Conference Chair, Dr Moosa Elayah declared that the goal of this conference is to build greater awareness about the issue of governance of public policies during and after conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa, a region that suffers from multiple conflicts, yet there is a dearth of academic research related to public policies and their industry in times of conflict, with many questions to be discussed.More Related News
