
Deputy Prime Minister meets Egypt's Foreign Minister

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met today in Cairo with the Foreign Minister of Egypt Sameh Shoukry. The meeting dealt with reviewing the positive developments in bilateral ties, following the signing of Al-Ula declaration in January, and stressed the importance of building on this important step by taking further measures to enhance the positive momentum in the coming period, and seize the large economic and investment opportunities available in the two countries, to achieve their interests. The meeting also dealt with reviewing ways to enhance mechanisms of joint Arab work, given Qatar is presiding over the Arab League, in addition to discussing the two countries' positions regarding regional issues, particularly developments related to the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam. HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the Qatar's thanks to the Arab Republic of Egypt's efforts in reaching a ceasefire in Gaza.More Related News
