DeMarcus Cousins banished by Puerto Rican team after ugly fan brawl
NY Post
Demarcus Cousins Boogie-d himself right off the team.
Cousins was kicked off his Puerto Rican basketball team for the remainder of the season after his involvement in ugly physical altercations with fans Monday, the Baloncesto Superior Nacional league (BSN) announced Tuesday.
The four-time NBA All-Star had to be forcibly removed from the floor after grabbing the arm of one courtside fan, and he then made contact with another while leaving the floor.
BSN officials announced Cousins was fined $4,250 for a disqualifying foul, a technical foul and actions deemed to incite or provoke others.
The fine could increase to $10,000 if he fails to “show cause” why it shouldn’t be raised.
Cousins, who plays for the Mets de Guaynabo, found himself in the middle of these wild altercations with fans Monday during a road game.

Wednesday was another positive day at Yankees camp. For the first time since March 6, 2025 — an outing in which he knew “something wasn’t right,” which began a weeks-long saga that ended on the operating table for Tommy John surgery — Gerrit Cole was back on a mound and facing hitters in game action.
