
Deepinder Goyal wins EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2025 award

Deepinder Goyal was recognised for his focus on innovation, strong operations and long-term thinking. The jury also noted that his businesses have created thousands of jobs for youth and gig workers and supported a wider ecosystem of entrepreneurs across the country.
Deepinder Goyal, Founder of Eternal Ltd., has been awarded the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2025 Award at the 27th edition of the awards held in Mumbai. An 11-member jury selected him for his impact on India’s consumption patterns through his consumer-tech businesses and for building long-term value.
The organisers said Goyal was recognised for his focus on innovation, strong operations and long-term thinking. The jury also noted that his businesses have created thousands of jobs for youth and gig workers and supported a wider ecosystem of entrepreneurs across the country. Goyal will now represent India at the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year Award to be held in Monte Carlo in June 2025.
Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal attended the event as Chief Guest and felicitated Deepinder Goyal, Uday Kotak and the category winners.
Uday Kotak, Chairman of GIFT City and veteran banker, received the Special Jury Award for his contribution to the Indian banking and financial services sector and for his long-term impact on entrepreneurs.
The awards were given across eight categories. Abhishek Lodha of Lodha Group won in Energy, Real Estate and Infrastructure. Ajay Bhardwaj of Anthem Biosciences was recognised in Life Sciences and Healthcare.
Gopal Vittal of Bharti Airtel won in the Entrepreneurial CEO category. Jasbir Singh of Amber Enterprises was honoured in Manufacturing. Karan Bhagat of 360 One WAM won in Services.
