Jordan Klepper mocked the health secretary over his "simple, logical graphic."
“Daily Show” correspondent Jordan Klepper took on Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Tuesday for unveiling a new, upside-down food pyramid while rolling out new dietary guidelines last week.
Kennedy, during a press briefing at the White House, remarked on the look of the inverted food pyramid and claimed that the model “was actually upside-down before and we just righted it.”
Klepper teased the health secretary over his “simple, logical graphic.”
“You know what? I’m pretty sure this one is upside down, unless I’m misremembering every pyramid photo I’ve ever seen,” quipped Klepper alongside an image of flipped Egyptian pyramids.
The comedian also poked fun at Dr. Mehmet Oz, the former talk show host who now serves as Donald Trump’s administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Oz told reporters that, in the “best-case scenario,” he doesn’t think people should drink alcohol.
