Desi Lydic jokingly named another TV figure that Trump could nominate instead of someone with a "long history of medical quackery."
“Daily Show” correspondent Desi Lydic mocked Donald Trump on Wednesday for choosing former TV star Dr. Mehmet Oz to run the agency that oversees Medicare and Medicaid before cautioning that his pick could’ve been “worse.”
“At least Dr. Oz is an actual doctor, I’m impressed that he didn’t pick Dr Pepper,” Lydic joked.
“But is someone going to tell him that this isn’t actually a doctor’s job? This is running a vast insurance bureaucracy. If you have to pick someone from TV, at least pick the LiMu Emu.”
