Cyclist hit by vehicle on Pembina Highway, critically injured

A cyclist was rushed to hospital in critical condition Tuesday morning in Winnipeg after being hit by a vehicle.
The crash happened just before 6:30 a.m. on Pembina Highway at Garwood Avenue.
Several police vehicles have blocked the southbound lanes of Pembina in the area and drivers are asked to use a different route.
One northbound lane of Pembina is also closed due to the investigation.
No information on the age or sex of the cyclist has been released by police, who also don't know how long the road will remain closed.
