Critical decision made NBA Cup final Mike Brown’s finest Knicks hour
NY Post
This was the finest hour of Mike Brown’s young Knicks tenure.
Of course, the hope is that this finest hour will be topped later on with a real championship. And Brown has provided every indication he is the right man to deliver it.
It was his lineup decision that changed the course of Tuesday’s win over the Spurs and won the Knicks the NBA Cup.
After trailing for most of the first three quarters, he inserted three bench players — Tyler Kolek, Jordan Clarkson and Mitchell Robinson — alongside Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby.

Almost a year to the day after a goaltender interference call against Kyle Palmieri lost the Islanders a game against the Blue Jackets that started their season’s death spiral, they were on the wrong end of another controversial call against those same Blue Jackets that might have had the same effect.

SAN DIEGO — As you may have seen elsewhere in this newspaper (and also if you haven’t deleted me yet from your social media), I have a book coming out Tuesday called “The Bosses of The Bronx.” Much of it details the 37 years’ worth of antics, winning, losing, winning again and overall mania of George Steinbrenner’s time with the Yankees.
