Coldplay’s Chris Martin Jokingly Warns Fans After Scandalous Viral CEO Video
HuffPost
There was a notable change to the Jumbotron bit at Coldplay’s most recent show after a cuddling pair went viral for panicking on camera.
Coldplay’s Chris Martin playfully warned fans about the “kiss cam” on Saturday during the band’s first performance following the viral moment that has had the internet in a chokehold since last week.
In a clip shared by a fan on X, formerly Twitter, Martin gave concertgoers a heads up that they may appear on the massive screen at their show for the band’s “The Jumbotron Song.”
“We’d like to say hello to some of you in the crowd,” the frontman told the crowd at the Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. “How we’re gonna do that is we’re gonna use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen.”
While strumming his guitar on stage, he went on to tease, “So please, if you haven’t done your makeup, do your makeup now.”
Despite Martin’s cheeky disclaimer, no couples were shown on screen during “The Jumbotron Song” at the show, according to People.
