Coldplay Kiss Cam Scandal Gets Whole New WTF Twist With Tech Company’s Latest Ad

"I've been hired on a very temporary basis," Astronomer's new "temporary spokesperson" said in a tongue-in-cheek video.
Tech company Astronomer is trying to consciously uncouple from the scandal surrounding two of its ex-executives.
Its now-former CEO Andy Byron and head of human resources Kristin Cabot went unwillingly viral after being caught canoodling on a kiss cam at a Coldplay concert last week. The July 17 footage showed Byron’s arms wrapped around Cabot, but as soon as they realized they were on tape, they tried to duck out of view, with Byron throwing his body to the ground.
“Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” Coldplay frontman Chris Martin commented from the stage.
The cringe-inducing moment went mega-viral, and internet sleuths determined that both execs were married to other people. Both have since resigned from the company.
On Friday, Astronomer released an ad featuring an individual it called a “temporary spokesperson” ― none other than Chris Martin’s ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow.
