Harry Enten revealed how the GOP is in its "best position" in decades ahead of the midterms.
CNN’s chief data analyst Harry Enten on Sunday highlighted the Democratic Party’s struggle to register new voters as the GOP makes “massive gains” in four key swing states ahead of next year’s midterms.
Enten turned to an analysis of party-based voter registration data from Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina and Pennsylvania that shows the Republican Party in its “best position” at this point in the election cycle since at least 2005.
“The Democratic brand right now has about the appeal with the American voter as the Cracker Barrel rebrand has with the American consumers. Bad, bad, bad!” said Enten in a nod to the restaurant chain’s logo makeover, which it recently trashed following backlash from President Donald Trump and MAGA supporters.
Enten went on to reveal that the Republican Party’s voter registration gains in the four battleground states are better than at this point in the president’s first term back in 2017.
“My goodness gracious! For Republicans, they are converting old former Democrats to their side of the ledger as well as picking up new voters, registering new voters, and it absolutely paid off for them back in the 2024 election,” Enten declared.
