Christina Applegate Gets Candid About Her Daughter’s Reaction To Her MS Diagnosis

The “Dead To Me” star was diagnosed with MS in 2021.

Christina Applegate is opening up about how her daughter, Sadie Grace LeNoble, has handled her multiple sclerosis and the emotional hurdles it came with.

“In my situation, Sadie only knew me as healthy and a runner and a Pelotoner and a dancer — and she only knew that,” she said. “She was like stoic about it,” Applegate recalled during a Wednesday episode of her podcast “MeSsy,” which she hosts with actor Jamie-Lynn Sigler.

The “Dead To Me” star, who was diagnosed with MS in 2021, shared that her daughter initially showed a “stoic” response to the life-change news.

Applegate also described the emotional toll her condition has taken on their day-to-day relationship.

“I see her look at me when I’m in bed,” she confessed. “And can’t quite move or, I want to go say goodnight to her in her room, but I can’t quite get down the hallway for whatever reason, my legs aren’t working that day.”
