Chinese giant pandas set off to Doha

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the People's Republic of China Tuesday participated in the farewell ceremony for a pair of giant Pandas 'Suhail' and 'Soraya' gifted by China to the Qatar, in preparation to be transferred from the capital Beijing to Doha. In his remark during the ceremony, HE the Ambassador of Qatar to China Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Duhaimi hailed the level of the bilateral relations between Qatar and China, noting that this gift symbolizes the depth of relations between the two countries. HE Al Duhaimi considered the event a milestone in the popular and cultural diplomacy to push the relations between the two friendly countries to higher levels and broader horizons, expressing the State of Qatar's thanks to all those who contributed to achieving this event from the outset and until this moment. He also welcomed the officials and organizers of the ceremony from the Chinese side to Qatar to attend the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
