Chief of Staff meets Turkish defence minister

HE the Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Staff Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad al-Nabit met separately with Turkish Minister of National Defence Hulusi Akar and Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces General Yasar Guler, during his current visit to Ankara.
During the two meetings, they reviewed the bilateral military relations, and ways to enhance them. Head of the International Military Co-operation Authority Brigadier General Abdulaziz Saleh al-Sulaiti and Qatari Military Attache to Turkey Brigadier General Mohamed bin Rashid al-Shahwani attended the meetings.
HE al-Nabit met separately with Commander of Turkish Special Forces General Omer Ertugrul Erbakan, Commander of Turkish Land Aviation Command Brigadier General Oguz Baykal, Commander of the Drone Brigade Brigadier General Ismail Yayan, and Turkey’s Vice President of Defence Industries Serdar Demirel, during his current visit to Turkey.
