Charlotte, Henry top the most popular baby names in Nova Scotia for 2025

Henry and Charlotte are the most popular baby names in Nova Scotia for 2025, according to data released by the provincial government.
This past year 42 babies were named Charlotte and 40 were named Henry.
It's the second year in a row Charlotte has been the most popular name for girls in the province. Theodore was the most popular name for boys last year, with Henry moving from the tenth most popular name in 2024 to number one this year.

There were 7,184 births in Nova Scotia in 2025, compared to 7,154 in 2024 and just 5,922 births in 2023.
