Cambridge man charged with 2nd-degree murder in woman's death

A 57-year-old Cambridge, Ont., man has been charged with second-degree murder after a woman's body was found inside a home in the city earlier this month.
Officers were called to a home on Fletcher Circle for a well-being check on Jan. 25. A 61-year-old woman was found dead at the home.
The 57-year-old man was at the home and taken into custody at the time.
Police have said the case is being investigated as a homicide but have provided no other details about how the woman died.
Police said the man and woman were believed to be known to one another.
The investigation is ongoing.
