
BSF personnel arrive in Eruvadi for poll duty

BSF personnel deployed in Eruvadi for election security ahead of Tamil Nadu's legislative Assembly elections.
Border Security Force (BSF) personnel arrived in Eruvadi for poll duty in Nanguneri Assembly constituency, in view of the forthcoming legislative Assembly elections.
They were accorded a warm welcome by Eruvadi police personnel.
The announcement for the Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu is expected in a few days and the Election Commission has intensified preparatory works for the polls.
Accordingly, a team of BSF personnel from the 133rd battalion based in Salbagan area of Tripura has been deployed for election security in Nanguneri Assembly constituency. The team led by Assistant Commandant Basant Yadav includes two inspectors, two sub inspectors, 9 assistant sub inspectors, 12 head constables and 59 constables, taking the total strength to 85 personnel, has reached Eruvadi.
