Broncos running back Tyler Badie collapses on sideline, carted off with injury in scary scene
NY Post
A terrifying situation developed on the Broncos sideline at MetLife Stadium.
Running back Tyler Badie collapsed before the start of the second quarter during the 10-9 Broncos’ win over the Jets on Sunday and had to be carted off with what Denver later described as a back injury.
Following the game, Broncos coach Sean Payton did not have an update on Badie, nor would he say if the running back would be flying back to Denver with the team, according to the Denver Post.
The incident occurred shortly after Badie was hit in the back during a play and coughed up the ball because of the hit.
The running back caught a pass from quarterback Bo Nix but quickly got hit by Quincy Williams for what would have been a four-yard loss before the ball popped out.
Michael Carter II recovered the ball and the Jets wound up getting a field goal out of the whole thing.

SALT LAKE CITY — It’s easy to forget about the quiet, which in Knicks World means Leon Rose. We’re approaching five years — amazingly — since the team president answered questions from the independent media, and I’ve always maintained that’s poor practice because it avoids responsibility. If there’s no public explanation behind a move or a goal, there’s no accountability if it doesn’t work out.
