Britney Spears apologizes to ex Justin Timberlake over memoir: ‘I am in love’ with his song ‘Selfish’
NY Post
She’s tired of the media circus.
Pop icon Britney Spears issued an apology to ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake on Sunday after she made several claims about the “Cry Me a River” singer in her memoir, “The Woman in Me.”
“I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry,” Spears, 42, wrote in an Instagram post of Timberlake, 42, appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
“I also wanted to say I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish,’ ” the Princess of Pop added. “It is soo good and how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together I laugh so hard ???”
“Ps ‘Sanctified’ is wow too,” Spears added.
While Spears did not name Timberlake outright, the clip and caption leave little room for interpretation.
