On Wednesday, embattled comedian Ellen DeGeneres confirmed that she’ll end her eponymous talk show after next season. The writing was already on the wall — her contract was up anyway in 2022, a source told The Post. DeGeneres’ official reason for her exit is that her show is “just not a challenge anymore.” But for months she’s been dogged by scandal and “Ellen” has reportedly seen a dip in its ratings and its ability to book A-list guests.
