
‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations launched in Qatar

Doha: India’s 75th Anniversary of Independence celebrations were kicked-off in Qatar with a wide range of programmes. 75-week long celebrations collectively named by the government of India as ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ was officially launched in Qatar by Embassy of India in association with Indian Cultural Centre (ICC).
Respecting covid protocol, the ceremony was limited to Embassy high rank officials and ICC Management Committee members. Chief Guest Dr Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of India, inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the traditional lamp followed by tree planting within the premises of Indian Cultural Centre.More Related News
