Kristin Cabot's departure comes days after Andy Byron stepped down from his role as CEO of the tech company.
The executive who was featured cozying up with the now-former CEO of Astronomer at a Coldplay concert’s kiss cam in a viral video that took the internet by storm resigned from the company Thursday, Astronomer confirmed to HuffPost.
Kristin Cabot, who served as chief people officer at Astronomer, departed the data operations company days after Andy Byron resigned from his role as chief executive of the company after being placed on leave following online speculation of an affair between the two.
“As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding,” the company said in the statement announcing Byron’s departure. “Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met.”
The company has so far not made a public announcement on Cabot’s departure.
Neither Byron nor Cabot are currently listed on the leadership page featured in the company’s website.
