Armie Hammer forced to sell truck because he ‘can’t afford’ gas after career-ending cannibalism scandal

Armie Hammer has moved back to Los Angeles, but he has to sell his beloved truck because gas prices are just too damn high.
In a video posted to Instagram on Tuesday, August 27, the disgraced actor, 37, revealed he has gotten a new apartment in LA and taken the truck he has loved “intensely” on one final roadtrip — to Carmax.
“I’ve been back in LA for a couple of weeks now. This is my truck. I bought this for myself in 2017 as a Christmas gift for myself, because I’ve had pickup trucks for a long time, and I have loved this truck intensely,” he said of the black pickup, which he showed parked in a Carmax parking lot.
“This is not an ad for Carmax,” he clarified. “This is because I am selling my truck.”
“Since being back in LA, I have put about four or five hundred dollars worth of gas in it, and I can’t afford it. I can’t afford the gas anymore,” he said.
Hammer’s career plummeted off a cliff almost overnight after accusations of rape, physical abuse and cannibalistic fantasies were leveled against him in 2021. He has since spoken out, saying he’s “grateful” the scandal caused his “career death.”
