Elphaba to the rescue.
Ariana Grande was charged at by a fan at the “Wicked: For Good” premiere in Singapore on Thursday, and her co-star, Cynthia Erivo, quickly rushed to protect her.
In multiple videos going viral on social media, Grande, 32, can be seen walking the red carpet with Erivo, 38, and the other two main stars of the movie, Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum, as a man sprints towards them and wraps his arms around Grande.
Grande, who plays Glinda in the film, tried to get away from the crazed person, who smiled and cheered while grabbing the pop star.
Erivo immediately jumped in between Grande and the man to separate them and protect her co-star. Security then intervened and pulled the man away from Grande. Yeoh, 63, could also be seen comforting her.
The “7 Rings” singer looked visibly shaken up by the incident.
