Another cold weather warning issued for Windsor, Chatham and Sarnia region

A blast of Arctic air is pushing the temperatures even further down across southwestern Ontario on Friday — including in Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton.
Wind chills could plummet to lows of anywhere between -30 to -35, according to Canada’s weather agency.
The frigid temperatures are expected to be at their lowest in the morning.
As a result, and similar to earlier this week, Environment Canada issued a cold weather warning around 4 a.m. on Friday — listing its impact level as “moderate.”
“Cover up,” it said in an online statement. “Frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin, especially with wind chill.”
The weather agency says if it’s too cold for you to stay outside then it’s also too cold for your pet to stay outside.
“Watch for colour changes on fingers and toes, pain, numbness, a tingling sensation, or swelling. If present, move indoors and begin warming.”
