Amir welcomes Brazilian president

Accompanied by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro being accorded an official reception ceremony

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani welcomed the Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro and the accompanying delegation wishing him a pleasant stay, and the relations between the two countries further development and growth in various fields. For his part, Bolsonaro expressed his thanks to the Amir for the warm reception and hospitality, stressing his country's keenness to develop and strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation with Qatar in various fields. The Amir received from the Brazilian president the Grand Collar of the Brazilian National Medal, the highest Brazilian decoration awarded to heads of state and government. On arrival at the Amiri Diwan, Bolsonaro was accorded an official reception ceremony. His Highness the Amir also hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Brazilian president and the accompanying delegation.
